Benefits of a Gateway to Science membership
Posted by: | Comments“My family and I love Gateway to Science! My children think all of the hands-on activities are fun and interesting. The brain teasers, especially, are particularly engaging. I love the fact that we learn something new every time we go. We also enjoy the special activity days such as Rocket Day, Bubble Day and the Halloween activities. Whenever we have been there, whether as a family or on a school field trip, the Gateway to Science staff has been welcoming, encouraging and helpful. We’ve also utilized our membership at other science museums throughout the country and feel that our membership has been a great value. Thanks for being such an awesome organization!”
Sincerely,
Jennifer B.

Family Fun in the Gallery

We will all be celebrating Thanksgiving with friends and family on November 25, so the gallery will be closed this Thursday. However, you are in luck for this weekend! Join us on Friday or Saturday between noon and 5:00 (regular hours) for some family fun in the gallery. Show your extended family how much fun they can have in Bismarck by bringing them to Gateway to Science, North Dakota’s only hands-on science center!

Goblins, Ghosts, and Ghouls! Oh MY!
On Saturday, October 30, 2010 The Frances Leach High Prairie Arts & Science Complex was the place to be at the 8th Annual “Haunting Arts & Spooktacular Science.”
Halloween-themed activities were offer by each of the partners at High Prairie, included:
Fun, spooky, and hands-on science experiments, Halloween Scavenger Hunt, Art projects like Monster Magnets and Ghostly drawings, Chilling Cookies and Witch brew, and a Halloween comedy for the whole family!
This was a great way for families to celebrate Halloween together! We had a record attendance for this wonderful event! Thank you to our volunteers and staff!
