Preparing for Einstein on Wine
ByGateway to Science will hold its annual fundraiser, “Einstein on Wine” on Friday, November 18. A Chef Showdown will feature a rematch between Mort Bank, the 2010 Champion, and Aaron Bank, the 2009 Champion. “Einstein on Wine” will also feature beer and wine presentations by Dr. Robert Bates, live and silent auctions, test tube raffle and dessert buffet.
Tickets go on sale October 1. Cost is $40 for Members and $50 for Non-Members. This year, we are offering a special “Members Only” rate for couples – two tickets for $75.
Stay tuned for more details, but just to peak your interest, here’s a picture of one of the items that will be featured in the live auction. This stunning hand-carved wood duck by Master Carver Frank Koch is valued at $3,000.
