Camps & Programs

Dear Parents,

The only hands-on science center in North Dakota offers programs designed to make science fun, inspiring, and entertaining. This includes science camps in the summer, science clubs during the school year, and many family and special events throughou the whole year. Our programming staff works year-round, creating new programs and updating old favorites. Our Communications Specialist makes sure that registration information is accessible for all the families in our community.

For the Summer of 2010 we have the opportunity to offer not only 5 Lego camps, including Robotics camp, but also three brand new camps. Participants will design, build, and race various types of vehicles in “Build It! Race It!”. Astronaut Camp will include astronaut-training activities, such as planning a meal to eat on the space station and practicing for spacewalks. Participants in Paleontology Experience will learn about excavating fossils froma real paleontologist. Each of our summer camps will have your child learning, imagining and working with their hands and tools, while having fun!

Year after year, Gateway to Science hosts returning campers that can’t wait to get back to experiencing our unique, hands-on approach to learning, and a high volume of new campers that are excited to try our camps for the first time! We welcome everyone!
