Young Scientists Club

A new semester of Young Scientists Club is about to begin!

The mission of Young Scientists Club is to spark an interest in future scientific curiosity for boys and girls and to fascinate them with the wonders of scientific discovery. Our goal is to engage children in an Educational Science Adventure that lasts a lifetime!

Gateway to Science believes that children should to be exposed to the exciting fields of science at an early age with fun and engaging hands-on experiments, activities and games that are accompanied by age-appropriate information on specific science topics.

Young Scientists Club meets for 10 Mondays, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., starting on September 20 (skipping September 27 due to the school break). Each session consists of a different, fun, hands-on science activity.

Students in grades 4, 5, and 6 are encouraged to register early for this semester’s Young Scientists Club. Space is limited to 15 students. Cost is $80 for members and $95 for nonmembers.

The nonmember price includes a student membership through the end of November, when the fall session of Young Scientists Club ends. If you are planning to participate in additional programs during the next year, please consider purchasing an annual membership. Annual Student memberships are $20, Family memberships are $50, in addition to our many other levels of membership.

An annual membership allows admission into the Gateway to Science gallery for one year and discounts on other programs offered throughout the year. Check out the additional benefits of membership.

If you or someone you know may not be able to pay the entire registration fee for a camp or club, we have partial Scholarships Available!

Isaac Asimov: “The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not ‘Eureka!’ but ‘That’s funny…’”

IT'S FUN - IT'S COOL - IT'S AWESOME - IT'S SCIENCE!
