Dr. Kerski will begin his presentation at 7 pm.
Presentation will be held at Bismarck State College - National Energy Center of Excellence in the Basin Electric Auditorium Room 304. (1200 Schafer Street)

Museum Day is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian Media in which participating museums across the country open their doors for free to anyone presenting a Museum Day Ticket.

On Saturday, September 25th, from 10:00am-11:30am, Dr. Kerski will be hosting a workshop at Gateway to Science- “Get Outside with GPS! “. This Children’s workshop will cover the science behind and opportunities abounding with GPS, and provide hands-on experience with data collection, routes, waypoints, tracks, velocities, measuring the Earth’s circumference, and much more. What a great experience! Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling/friend. Space is limited. Doors open at 9:30am. The Cost is FREE!

Gateway to Science is located in the Frances Leach High Prairie Arts and Science Complex. Our address is 1810 Schafer Street, Suite 1, Bismarck, ND 58501-1218. Please Note: Gateway to Science is NOT located in the Jack Science Center building on the campus of Bismarck State College, but is north of the campus.

ACCESSIBLITY
Frances Leach High Prairie Arts & Science Complex is wheelchair accessible through the main entrance. Elevator access and accessible restrooms are available on both floors.

Children (ages 4-18)*: $2.00
Children under 4: FREE
Members are always Free!
*All children under age 8 must be accompanied by a paying adult
Group Rates Available for groups of 10 or more.
