Are you looking for an opportunity to make a charitable contribution before the end of the year? At Gateway to Science, we have not traditionally sent a year-end appeal letter for a couple of reasons: 1) Our biggest annual fundraiser, Einstein on Wine, is just completed; and 2) Giving Hearts Day is just around the corner (mark your calendar for February 8, 2018). However, that doesn’t mean that we don’t need donations at this time of year! Gateway to Science is, after all, a nonprofit organization, and more than two-thirds of our annual operating budget comes from charitable giving.

If you would like to support a worthy nonprofit and potentially realize tax benefits, I hope that you will consider Gateway to Science in your end-of-year contributions. Our online contribution process is simple – just visit our website.  To contribute to our current gallery and programs, simply complete the online donation form. There are also links to specific funds, like the Frank Koch Laboratory Classroom Fund or the Dave & DeLaine Poppke Scholarship Fund.

Of course, you don’t have to donate online. Donations are welcome in any form – in person, via mail, etc., and at any time of year.

Endowment Fund: Gateway to Science has established an endowment fund at the North Dakota Community Foundation. This permanent resource will provide ongoing support to our operations for many years. In addition to being tax deductible, your gift to our endowment fund may also qualify for the state’s generous 40% Income Tax Credit. You can find more information on our Endowment Fund page, or contact me at 701-258-1975.

Capital Campaign: If you are interested in supporting the Gateway to Science Capital Campaign, you may visit our Capital Campaign page or complete a pledge form.  We have exciting plans for 2018!

I appreciate your support. Whether you choose to donate, become a member, visit, enroll your children in a program, or share our story – it’s all important! We appreciate your commitment to help us realize our vision of inspiring the scientist in everyone!

Wishing you and your family the best of the season!
