DESCRIPTION:North Dakota’s Gateway to Science has teamed up with MDU Resources and the Bismarck Larks to bring STEM education (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, and Math) to the baseball field. Together\, we understand the importance of equipping youth with the knowledge and skills to solve tough problems\, gather and evaluate evidence\, and comprehend information. This year North Dakota’s Gateway to Science is celebrating 30 years\, MDU Resources is celebrating 100 years\, and the Bismarck Larks are celebrating 8 years!\n\nThe FREE-to-attend STEM Expo is a hands-on and educational opportunity for kids of all ages to learn\, interact and participate in science\, technology\, engineering and math activities and demonstrations. There will be 2 live science experiments that happen at 4 different times at the FREE Kids STEM Expo. Experiment A will happen at 10:30 am and 12 pm. Experiment B will happen at 11:15 am and 12:45 pm.\n\nThe first 350 kids that show up will get a special goodie bag. Get there early\, these ran out last year with over 500 kids attending

Whether you’re a new mom navigating the challenges of breastfeeding or a seasoned pro offering guidance\, this group is for you! Right before the group starts\, we will be holding a short ribbon-cutting ceremony for our Mamava Lactation Pod if you wish to attend!\n\nAll mothers\, expectant mothers\, and anyone interested in breastfeeding support are welcome! We encourage an inclusive environment where diverse experiences are celebrated and respected. Feel free to bring your friends for an even more welcoming experience!\n\nThe group will be joined by Cassie Geithman BSN\, RN\, IBCLC\, CPST\, Community Health Nurse\, Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health who has worked in obstetrics and lactation for more than 30 years\, providing lactation support in the hospital and community settings. Cassie is passionate about promoting breastfeeding as a cornerstone of maternal and infant health and is committed to supporting mothers and families on their breastfeeding journey.
