ND's ONLY Hands-On Science Center

A New Beginning:

Gateway to Science will construct a new children’s science center to increase our capacity to offer high quality activities and exhibits for teachers, students and the general public. In an expanded facility, Gateway to Science will offer a greater variety of informal science learning opportunities, which include interactive exhibits, unique programs and special events.

Focus on STEM Careers:

A state-of-the-art science center will focus on the future of jobs and technology, making connections between students’ interest in science and potential career choices. We will be training the future workforce for science/technology careers.

Architectural Team:

The team of HGA Architects and JLG Architects has been engaged to design our new facility. Representatives from both firms were in attendance at our 20th birthday party to visit with our guests about the design process and to lead tours of the site where we will construct our new science center. We have received a lot of feedback through a survey and will be incorporating as many ideas as possible into our plans.

Coming Soon…
