Experience and Expertise

Dawn’s background brings together customer service, community engagement, and operational coordination—skills that allow her to manage complex moving parts with ease. Her expertise in guiding volunteers, supporting educators during visits, and keeping guest-focused spaces running efficiently ensures the museum operates with professionalism and heart. Her work elevates NDGTS as a place where learning is supported not only through exhibits and programs, but also through every thoughtful detail of the guest experience.

Outside of NDGTS

Outside of work, Dawn enjoys camping—spending as many summer nights as possible outdoors—playing darts, and crafting. Her creative hobbies include t-shirt printing and design, crocheting, and many other craft projects.

Favorite Exhibit, Event, or Experiment

Dawn’s favorite is the Paper Airplane Launcher. She loves the mix of creativity, competition, and pure joy it brings out in visitors of all ages. Her all-time favorite experience was walking into the building for the first time and thinking, “This isn’t science… this is fun!” She loves how hands-on exploration makes learning feel natural and exciting, often without people even realizing they’re learning.
