North Dakota’s Gateway to Science has teamed up with MDU Resources and the Bismarck Larks to bring STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) to the baseball field. Together, we understand the importance of equipping youth with the knowledge and skills to solve tough problems, gather and evaluate evidence, and comprehend information.
What to Expect
Explore dozens of hands-on learning stations at the free STEM Expo. Great for kids of all ages, businesses around Bismarck-Mandan are bringing in new technology, machines, and experiments to leave your family feeling excited about STEM learning opportunities. The first 400 kids at the ballpark get a free drawstring bag and a 3D printed STEM activity! Plus, make sure to participate in the STEM Passport Challenge! Grab a passport and visit all the booths on your sheet to be entered to win a special prize! PLUS join us for the Larks game later that night and turn that passport in for a free popcorn!
