Your Support Matters

Following Preschool Discovery Hour, stick around to join us for Your Support Matters – Breastfeeding Support Group where mothers can come together to share experiences, gain knowledge, and find support on their breastfeeding journey. Whether you’re a new mom navigating the challenges of breastfeeding or a seasoned pro offering guidance, this group is for you! Right before the group starts, we will be holding a short ribbon-cutting ceremony for our Mamava Lactation Pod if you wish to attend!
All mothers, expectant mothers, and anyone interested in breastfeeding support are welcome! We encourage an inclusive environment where diverse experiences are celebrated and respected. Feel free to bring your friends for an even more welcoming experience!
The group will be joined by Cassie Geithman BSN, RN, IBCLC, CPST, Community Health Nurse, Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health who has worked in obstetrics and lactation for more than 30 years, providing lactation support in the hospital and community settings. Cassie is passionate about promoting breastfeeding as a cornerstone of maternal and infant health and is committed to supporting mothers and families on their breastfeeding journey.
