Whether at the Science Center or on-location, Gateway to Science offers dynamic, high-energy workshops tailored to all grade levels. Our workshops inspire curiosity and critical thinking, providing hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Choose from stand-alone workshops at the Science Center, field trip add-on workshops, or have us bring the workshop directly to your location!

On-site Workshops at the Science Center

Enjoy an immersive STEM experience at the Science Center. Our educators facilitate fun, interactive workshops on-site, offering students the chance to explore exhibits and activities directly.

Workshops Delivered on Location

We bring the excitement to you! Our STEM educators travel to schools and communities, providing tailored workshops that fit your needs. From hands-on activities to detailed lesson plans, we provide everything for a memorable learning experience.

Workshops Available for Every Grade

We offer workshops for elementary, middle school, and high school. Each workshop is designed to empower educators while engaging students in meaningful, interactive science education, appropriate to grade. Similar workshops may be offered at all three levels, with the expectations and degree of difficulty appropriate for the age/grade of the participants. Workshop Details

• Length: Workshops are 45 to 60 minutes in length.
• Group size: Maximum of 30 students per session.
• Cost: $150 base cost
• Dissections: Additional non-refundable materials fee of $50 and four weeks advanced booking required.
• Remote: Some workshops are also available virtually, just ask in the request form.

Scheduling

• Complete and submit the Workshop Request Form (below).
• You will be emailed a contract from North Dakota’s Gateway to Science. If you do not receive an email within two (2) business days, please contact North Dakota’s Gateway to Science.
• To confirm your event, the $50 per workshop deposit, $50 dissection materials fee (if applicable), and signed contract are required.
• We will invoice the remaining balance before the event.
• Full payment is due one week before the event. Late payments will incur interest charges.

Cancellation Policy

Canceling a program less than 48 hours in advance incurs a $50 service charge.
