Giving Hearts

24-hour fundraising drive benefiting North Dakota and Minnesota charities

What is Giving Hearts Day?

Each year, North Dakota’s Gateway to Science takes part in North Dakota’s single largest day of giving–Giving Hearts Day. Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour fundraising event for charities in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.

When is Giving Hearts Day?

Giving Hearts Day happens every year in February. This year Giving Hearts Day is on February 13, but early donations open on Monday, January 13th, and help to make donations go further through matching gifts from generous community donors.

Supporting STEM through Giving Hearts Day

When you give to North Dakota’s Gateway to Science, you help inspire the discovery of science through hands-on experiences. Your generosity empowers learners of all ages, backgrounds, and perspectives to learn STEM skills, like critical thinking and creative problem solving, which reach far beyond our galleries and educational programs.

Your donation will help support:

  1. Reaching a record number of students across the state through Gateway to Science on the Go.
  2. Growing capacity and events for early childhood learners.
  3. Continued Development of our Outdoor Explorium.
  4. Adding new exhibits to the gallery to make learning even more accessible and engaging through hands-on experiences.
  5. Increasing center capacity to welcome an anticipated 125,000 visitors to the gallery and exhibits this year.

Donate

As you consider your donations for this year’s Giving Heart’s Day, we hope that you consider North Dakota’s Gateway to Science. Every donation goes a long way toward fulfilling our mission through supporting gallery visitors, program participants, and students with Gateway to Science on the Go.
