Volunteer Spotlight: Raghav Igathinathane

Raghav Igathinathane joined North Dakota’s Gateway to Science as a volunteer at the end of spring while on school break. He quickly became a valued part of the team, volunteering several times a week throughout the busy summer and field trip season.

Making Visitors Feel Welcome""

In the gallery, Raghav’s focus is always on the visitors. He approaches each interaction with kindness, enthusiasm, and care, helping guests feel welcome while encouraging them to explore and learn.

His positive attitude is easy to notice. Whether he is helping someone understand an exhibit or simply greeting a visitor, Raghav brings a smile to every interaction.

At the end of each shift, he also makes a point to ask if anything else needs to be done before he leaves. His willingness to step in and help wherever needed has made a meaningful difference to our team.
