Who said STEM is just for kids?
North Dakota’s Gateway to Science has launched an adult-centered programming series to inspire the scientist in everyone and allow us to cultivate interest and relationships with new audiences. We will strive to provide new and engaging experiences using feedback from our community.

Upcoming Program
Cocoa and Coding – January 11, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM*
Unleash Your Creativity with Coding, Robots, and a Touch of Engineering!
Warm up this January with a fun and interactive event that combines coding, robotics, and a little engineering – all while enjoying a hot cocoa bar provided by 3&Me (included in the cost of admission)! While January may be one of the coldest months of the year, we’ll be nice and warm indoors, ready to dive into the exciting world of technology.
This beginner-friendly session will introduce you to block coding, a simple, drag-and-drop method that doesn’t require prior programming experience. Over two hours, you’ll learn the fundamentals of coding, write commands to move robots, and take on an engineering/coding challenge that tests your new skills!
Whether you’re a curious learner or an aspiring tech wizard, this hands-on experience is the perfect way to explore the basics of coding while having fun with robots.
*A minimum of 15 participants is required to hold the event.
