About Our Camps
We offer 11 weeks of STEM-focused summer camps starting the week of Memorial Day. Camps are designed for students entering grades 1-6 and grades 7-9. Our summer camps provide hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Campers explore STEM concepts through structured activities and experimentation in an interactive and engaging environment. The informal camp setting encourages curiosity and critical thinking while allowing campers to develop new skills and interests.\
Camp Schedule & What to Bring
Full-Day Camp
- Runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Check-in begins at 7:45 AM; pick-up by 5:15 PM)
- Campers must bring their own lunch for a supervised lunch break.
- A water bottle and snacks are required for both morning and afternoon breaks.
Half-Day Camp
- Morning Session: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Check-in begins at7:45 AM)
- Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Check-in begins at 12:45 PM; pick-up by 5:15 PM)
- Campers must bring a water bottle and snacks for designated breaks.
What to Expect
Campers participate in a variety of STEM-focused activities each week, such as:
Grades 1-6
- Engineering Challenges – Build structures that meet specific criteria, such as supporting weight or protecting an object during impact.
- Scientific Experiments – Extract DNA from fruit, test material reactions in different solutions, and explore chromatography.
- Coding & Robotics – Learn programming basics using Finch robots and Spheros.
- Construction & Design – Create and test mechanical and structural models, including rubber band cars, hydraulic arms, catapults, and rockets.
- Outdoor Exploration – Engage in nature walks, plant and tree identification, stomp rocket launches, and other outdoor science activities.
Grades 7-9 (Full Day Camps Only)
- June 23-27 (Environmental Science Camp) – Dive into the world of Environmental Science! Learn about ND watersheds with the River of Dreams project, hear from local industry leaders, and more.
- July 7-11 (STEM Adventure Camp) – Take a STEM Adventure as we explore a range of STEM topics, including the human body, engineering, coding, robotics, chemistry, physics, and more.
- July 21-25 (Aerospace Camp) – Take flight with our Aerospace Camp! Learn from industry leaders, participate in challenges to prepare for our Mission to the Moon and Mars, and practice being a (virtual) pilot.
