By giving to North Dakota’s Gateway to Science, you directly support interactive exhibits, outreach initiatives, and educational programs that inspire future problem-solvers who will shape our future.

Support a Specific Project or Fund
If you’re passionate about a specific project, program, exhibit or initiative, you can designate your donation to align with your interest.
Consider directly supporting:
- David & DeLaine Poppke Scholarship: this fund supports reduced costs and stipends to summer camp, mini camps, after-school camps, and clubs.
- Museums for All: this fund helps NDGTS to provide reduced admission rates and memberships for individuals and families receiving SNAP assistance and libraries around the state.
- On the Go: this fund helps cover costs of travel for STEM educators bringing hands-on science to students across the state. If you’d like to cover the costs for a particular school or region, let us know!
- Preschool Discovery Hour: this fund helps cover programming costs for a free, specially created monthly event for our youngest learners and their caregivers.
Let us know in the donation designation field and we’ll make sure your donation is applied toward the appropriate program.
Endowment Fund
North Dakota’s Gateway to Science has established an endowment fund at the North Dakota Community Foundation (NDCF). This permanent resource will support science center operations for years to come. Learn more at our Endowment Fund page.
Honorary or Memorial Donations
Celebrate a loved one by making a donation in their honor or memory. Your gift supports STEM education while recognizing someone special. Our donation form includes Tribute Information where you can add a name and specific message or note. We’ll notify the recipient or family of your donation in their honor or memory.
Fundraising
Consider supporting our mission through participation in our Fundraising Events, including Giving Hearts Day and Einstein on Wine. Sign-up for our newsletter to be the first to know about upcoming fundraisers.
In-Kind Donations
Contribute goods or services that help advance our mission, such as equipment, materials, and supplies. We have a Supply Wish List that identifies ongoing and specific donation needs for programs, camps, and events. These gifts significantly enhance our programs and operations.

Planned Giving
Ensure your legacy supports science education for future generations by including North Dakota’s Gateway to Science in your estate plans. Consider wills, charitable trusts, beneficiary designations, or a Qualified Charitable Distribution from a retirement account such as an IRA, 401(k), or 403(b).
Workplace and Employer-Matching Gifts
Support hands-on STEM learning through payroll deductions or employer-matching gift programs. Many companies match employee donations, doubling your impact. Further, many companies will match donations to non-profits by individual request.

Tax Deductions
North Dakota’s Gateway to Science is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all monetary donations are fully tax deductible as allowed by tax laws. You will receive confirmation of your donation, along with an annual donation acknowledgement letter.
