At North Dakota’s Gateway to Science, we are dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all visitors and our community. We strive to ensure that everyone can fully enjoy our exhibits, programs, and facilities by offering a variety of amenities designed for comfort and accessibility.
3andMe Cafe
Take a break and enjoy refreshments at the 3andMe Cafe, offering a selection of snacks, beverages, and light meal options. Whether you need a quick pick-me-up or a relaxing place to unwind, our café provides a comfortable space for all guests.
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Visitors driving electric vehicles can take advantage of four on-site charging stations. Located in the parking lot, these Level 2 stations allow guests to charge their vehicles while exploring the science center.
Mamava Lactation Pod
For caregivers, we offer a Mamava lactation pod, providing a private, clean, and comfortable space for breastfeeding, pumping, or caring for young children. The pod is equipped with seating, an outlet, and a locking door for privacy. It is located right outside of the Science First area in the gallery. Find it on the Mamava app or ask the front desk for the lock code.
Sensory Headsets
For visitors who experience noise sensitivity, we offer noise-reducing headsets to help create a more comfortable experience. Limited headsets are available upon request at the front desk.
Service Dogs
To ensure the comfort and safety of all visitors, we kindly ask that only service dogs accompany guests inside the facility. Service dogs are specially trained to assist individuals with disabilities. While we understand the importance of emotional support and comfort animals, only service dogs as defined by the ADA are permitted.
Smoke & E-Cigarette-Free Campus
North Dakota’s Gateway to Science is a smoke and e-cigarette-free campus. To ensure a safe and healthy environment for all guests, smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the premises.
Wheelchairs & Umbrella Strollers
We provide complimentary wheelchairs and umbrella strollers for visitors who need mobility assistance. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the front desk.
If you have any questions or require additional accommodations, please contact NDGTS staff for support by calling 701-258-1975, emailing gscience@gscience.org, approaching the front desk, or asking gallery staff.
