We are thrilled to have Oat & Toast as our in-building café! Located inside the science center, Oat & Toast offers fresh coffee, handcrafted drinks, oat bowls, sweet and savory toasts, and made-to-order food for guests of all ages to enjoy during their visit — or as a stop of its own, no science center admission required.

Owned by Kate and Matt Ekren, Oat & Toast is a Fargo-born food cart that continues to serve the Fargo community while bringing its focus on honest food, community connection, and welcoming experiences to Bismarck-Mandan.

Guests can stop by before exploring the science center exhibits or enjoy a relaxing break in our updated lobby seating and outdoor deck spaces overlooking the Missouri River. Oat & Toast is also open before exhibit hours, making it perfect for our early morning guests.

Whether you’re visiting the science center or simply looking for a new coffee spot in Bismarck, Oat & Toast offers a welcoming place to eat, drink, and connect.
