Perched above the scenic Missouri River, our deck offers breathtaking views and an unforgettable setting for any occasion. This wrap-around deck provides a stunning backdrop for gallery exploration, a coffee from 3andMe out on the deck. The deck is also available for private rental and is a beautiful venue for weddings, private parties, corporate gatherings, graduations, and other special events. It’s the perfect place to create lasting memories.

Deck Guidelines

Please review the following guidelines before planning your visit.

Hours

The deck is open during regular hours only, unless scheduled for a private event.

Access

Entrance is allowed only through the west door (by lobby).

Admission to the science center is required for access to the deck, which includes a visible wrist band.

Members: check in at the front desk to receive a wristband.

Non-members: pay admission at the front desk to receive a wristband.

All children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Return to the building through the west door or exit through the south gate.

Food & Drink

3andME customers may use the deck if they have checked in as noted above. Otherwise, they are welcome to use the designated seating area in the lobby.

No outside food or beverages are allowed in the building or on the deck, except for private events booked in advance.

Safety

Please do not hang on the railing or stand on the furniture.

Camera surveillance is in place for the security of our visitors and property.

The use of tobacco and e-cigarettes on NDGTS campus property is prohibited at all times.

Please throw away any trash before leaving the deck area.
