The Next 30 Years
If the last 30 years has taught North Dakota’s Gateway to Science (NDGTS) anything, it’s to keep looking forward at what’s next as we celebrate how far we’ve come. As we continue to build from where we’ve come, we’re always exploring new ways to inspire the discovery of science in everyone!
Science for Adults Too
Who said kids should have all the fun? North Dakota’s Gateway to Science is launching new adult-centered programming to not only inspire the scientist in everyone but also allow us to cultivate interest and relationships with new audiences. Some of our upcoming ideas for this fall include Painting and AI, Coding for Adults, and much more. Stay tuned for details!
A New Exhibit Takes Flight
Thanks to a generous grant from the North Dakota Space Grant Consortium, we’ve just unveiled a new addition to our gallery: a state-of-the-art hands-on aerospace exhibit featuring a cutting-edge flight simulator! Next time you’re here, don’t miss the chance to hop into the cockpit and embark on a thrilling journey through the skies. Our flight simulator isn’t just about fun—it’s a gateway to STEM education, offering an immersive way to explore the principles of flight firsthand. With realistic controls and locations around the world, it’s an experience that’s as educational as it is exhilarating. Come soar with us and discover the wonders of flight!
Explore STEM through Nature in Our Outdoor Explorium
The next time you visit, you’ll notice construction on site. We’re excited to announce the development of our Outdoor Explorium! Imagine an outdoor space that connects fun, hands-on STEM education with our natural world through the sky, wind, soil, trees, birds, and bees. The Outdoor Explorium will provide a living laboratory to engage with the natural world and discover lifelong lessons of caring for and conserving our earth. Plans include an operational Bobcat excavator, gardening, art, music, water, and observation and weather stations.
This project is thanks to and in collaboration with MDU Resources and Doosan Bobcat.
