Bismarck – Gateway to Science’s current gallery location at 1810 Schafer Street will close at 5pm on Saturday, October 15, 2022. The new science center at 1600 Canary Avenue will open on a to-be-determined date in early 2023.
“Closing our current location will allow our staff to focus on the move and the new building,” said Executive Director Beth Demke. “This includes installing new exhibits, setting up classrooms and public gathering spaces, training, and having everything in good working order when we open the doors for our members and visitors.”
Afterschool clubs will meet at the current Gateway to Science location through October. Day camps for grades 1-5 are scheduled for October 20, October 21, and November 10. Gateway to Science continues to schedule outreach programs throughout the state without interruption.
