Mamava, our new free-standing lactation pod, provides a private, clean, comfortable space for breastfeeding mothers. In partnership with a breastfeeding coalition that includes North Dakota Health & Human Services (NDHHS), Western Plains Public Health, Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health, and CHI, along with generous donations from CHI, NDHHS, and Walmart we were able to make this a reality for our visitors. Our Mamava lactation pod is located right outside of our Science First gallery. By downloading the app, you can locate Mamava Pods near you, check occupancy, unlock the pod, control the lighting, and even leave words of support for the next person.
