Detailed Policy

North Dakota’s Gateway to Science photography policy was created to manage the number of photography sessions and private events at a time. Admission must be paid to NDGTS before any photography sessions.

Prom Photography

No unauthorized photography sessions are allowed on NDGTS property at any time without reservation. Same-day reservations are NOT allowed. All prom photo sessions require approval and a paid fee from the Events Manager AT LEAST 48 hours in advance. Call Kristie at 701-751-6912. You must call in advance to check for early closures, private events, or other special events that may limit access.

Prom sessions will be 1 hour for a fee of $25.00. All members of a party who are to have their pictures taken need to be at NDGTS at their designated time. All photography shoots are limited to 30 minutes in the 2nd-floor Innovation Space (if available) and 30 minutes on the deck, including gathering time of the party. No photos will be allowed in the gallery.
