North Dakota’s Gateway to Science is inviting members and stakeholders to an exclusive look at the Outdoor Explorium during the Gateway Exclusive event on September 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The evening will offer members an opportunity to enjoy the Gateway to Science’s main gallery, followed by an exclusive experience in the new Outdoor Explorium.
An Evening of Exploration
From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., guests can explore the indoor gallery and enjoy the hands-on exhibits available during regular open hours. At 7:00 p.m., the Outdoor Explorium will become exclusive to Gateway to Science members and invited stakeholders for a special hour of exploration, activities and games. The Outdoor Explorium brings science and exploration outside with opportunities to climb, build, dig, experiment and observe.
Explore Pollinators and Birds
During the exclusive Outdoor Explorium experience, guests can take part in activities focused on pollinators and birds, including a cheese-powder pollination activity, a bee waggle dance, and a matching activity that explores the connections between pollinators and plants. Guests can identify birds found on our smart-cam bird feeder. Large yard games and complimentary light refreshments will round out the evening.
“This is another opportunity for us to give our members a closer look at what’s happening at Gateway to Science,” said Annie Beck, STEM Educator at Gateway to Science. “The Outdoor Explorium gives visitors a new way to explore science, and we’re excited to share it with the people who support us throughout the year.”
A Special Opportunity for Members
Gateway Exclusive is open to Gateway to Science members and invited stakeholders. Gateway to Science encourages new membership to take advantage of this and other member opportunities throughout the year. Membership supports Gateway to Science’s mission while providing opportunities to enjoy special events, programs and experiences within the Gateway to Science community.
Gateway Exclusive will take place on Wednesday, September 10, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. New members are welcome to join ahead of the event.
